Sometimes the preliminary has a better result than the primary. These small drawings have become an important part of my studio practice, as small as 2" x 2" they are at times more monumental than my 4' x 4' drawings. I will be adding to these drawings regularly in hopes of shedding some light on my process of creation, and what happens when I try to create large expanses of space on a small surface.
