These paintings and drawings are evidence of my interest in pattern, movement and surface. They hover between the real and the imagined, inviting the viewer to exist in the space, but not limiting or dictating the experience. I am interested in the relationships that form when disparate elements share the same surface, and the transcendental quality that the process and product offer to me as well as the viewer. I often describe my recent work as "imagined but tangible" landscapes.
